Unlike G1 formulation, G2 stains cell nuclei more intensively and in a shorter period of time. In
addition to histopathology and cytology, it is also used for counterstaining in immunohistochemistry.
Contains double the amount of active hematoxylin compared to Hematoxylin G1.
